Today Mayor Kevin Johnson announced his eight-week Mayor’s Fellows Program. This summer, five fellows from Harvard Business School will work with the Office of the Mayor to help develop Johnson’s specific policy initiatives, including economic development, housing, education, and the arts.
“I’m excited about this program. These students will be able to contribute their skills and energy to our efforts. In exchange, they gain invaluable insights and exposure into how city government works,” Johnson said. The Mayor’s Fellows Program is patterned after the White House Fellows Program in Washington, DC. The five fellows beat out 30 peers from 10 graduate programs nationwide.
